Slope Stabilisation Works, Rockhampton, QLD
As a result of monsoonal rain and tropical cyclones in 2010/11, the road network in Central Queensland sustained unprecedented damage. This project was part of the repair and rehabilitation of the road network. The repairs included stabilisation of four slopes in the Gladstone and Rockhampton region along with Gladstone to Benaraby Rd, Rockhampton to Yeppoon Road and the Western Yeppoon and Emu Park Road.
Ballina North Breakwater Remedial Works
The Dept of Primary Industries awarded CivilTeam the contract to undertake remedial works to repair the breakwater and ensure it could continue to function as designed and maintain public safety. Work included the placement of 8, 12, and 16 Tonne hanbars and rock armour along three predetermined positions on the breakwater.
Whitsunday Coast Airport
The Whitsunday Coast Airport is 5kms from Proserpine and 40km from tourist town Airlie Beach. This project involved the milling of 50mm of runway’s bitumen surface with areas of sub-grade repaired and new asphalt laid correcting any issues with levels.
Pavement Reconstruction - Kennedy Highway, QLD
This project site was located on the Kennedy Highway between Mareeba and Atherton, in Far North Qld. The project was funded under the Dept. of Transport and Main Rds – National Disaster Relief and Recovery Arrangements.
Upgrade Works to Two Aerodromes, NT & WA
This project was part of the Australian Governments Regional Aviation Access Program – upgrading aerodromes in remote and isolated communities. Theses airstrips are crucial infrastructure for the communities they serve.
Upgrade Works to Three Aerodromes, NT
This project comprised the upgrade of a further three of the remote aerodromes servicing indigenous communities, as part of the Australian Government’s upgrade program undertaken at this time.
