Braunstone Rail Loop Extension

Description

For this project CivilTeam was responsible for preparatory civil works for the new railway extension loop at Braunstone, Grafton, NSW.

The extension was part of a major rail works program being undertaken by the Australian Rail Track Corporation to increase efficiency for rail freight between Sydney and Brisbane.

Our Management

CivilTeam experienced many issues with the main contractor throughout this project in relation to sourcing materials and on site management. This reduced construction lead times and increased the potential for delay.

CivilTeam’s project management focussed on resourceful programming and open communication with key stakeholders.

As a result, potential delays were not only minimised, but the project was actually delivered ahead of time.
