Our Management
Aurukun is in an extremely remote location, with access only available in the dry season.
The limited access site required management of all resources and materials.
Value Adding
CivilTeam attempted to set up a concrete batching plant to provide employment and training for local indigenous labour, however this met with too many problems to eventuate. However, opportunity was offered for local labour to learn other skills, including concrete batching, installation of pipework, earthworks, road construction and reinforced concrete construction, as they worked with and beside CivilTeam site staff.
